Dear L’Ambiance Owner,
Due to social distancing concerns related to the Coronavirus Covid19 pandemic, the Pelican Bay Foundation has closed its meeting rooms, and many other local meeting facilities are closing shortly. The Federal government is recommending no gatherings over 10 people. And many communities are closing their amenities such as fitness centers and pools to discourage congregating.
The L’Ambiance Board of Directors and Eagle Property Management share these concerns and are notifying residents that the L’Ambiance fitness center will be closing at 12:00 PM Wednesday, March 18.
The Clubhouse will also close for all gatherings until further notice at 12:00 PM Wednesday, March 18. Only the pool bathrooms will remain open for pool users. All card room and clubhouse use reservations are canceled until further notice.
While the Association is not closing the pool at this time, it will most likely be closed in coming days to discourage congregating. In the meantime, all patrons should practice safe social distancing of at least 6 feet.
We understand that in many communities the Association pool is a gathering place for friends and family, a place to interact, share stories and socialize. With that said, it is still imperative that everyone who uses the swimming pool to continue to reduce the risk of contamination from person to person.
As most of us know, the CDC guidelines for protecting you and your family include: Hand washing (we cannot stress this enough), Avoiding touching your face/mouth, Avoiding large groups of people, and when you are around other people keep 6 feet between you and them, and avoid shaking hands, hugging and/or kissing. The gathering of large groups of people is the number 1 cause for the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
It is the responsibility for all of us to do everything we can to reduce the spread of this disease.
Thank you for your cooperation.
L’Ambiance Board of Directors
